Prayer Request's

 

  • Please pray for my son, Brina Harkins. He is in the Army Reserve and has been notified that in the event that one of his fellow reservists does not pass all the qualificationss for security, he may be the next in line to be sent to Iraq (he is a Drill Sargent) to train Iraqis to be drill sargents for their own army. This could mean that he would be there for as much as one year. I would rather that he not get that call, so would he, but as he said, if he gets the call he will go and do his best. Please pray that God send him in the right direction and that if he gets that call that he be shielded while over there. (Chris Schardein 07-01-2008)

  • Joyce would like us to pray for her nephew, Mike McBride who has been diagnosed with acute Leukemia. (Will Holmes 07-01-2008)

  • Please remember my good friend, Linda Adams, as she goes into her third week of radiation. She is doing well and thanks us all for our prayers. Please pray for her continued success in her treatment for breast cancer (Chris Schardein 06-30-2008)

  • Alice Taylor’s test came back good so she will not need chemo after surgery. Ronald Taylor, Jr, has had some problems that have that the doctors have not been able to determine the cause of. Lastly, Ron Jr's wife, Nikki, is currently going thru chemotherapy for lymphoma. Please pray for healing for all three of these friends, for peace for the whole family whatever the outcome. They are church going people and would appreciate all your prayers. (Chris Schardein 06-30-2008)

  • Beth Martin, a new member of our class, requests prayer for her father and family relationships to improve and health and strength. (Will Holmes 06-30-2008)

  • Richard Constantine's health: He's doing better and was moved from ICU to PCU... Hopefully he will be able to go back to heart rehab and be able to get back to normal. However, normal does not mean building anymore 6 foot fences board by board are trimming the hundreds of pieces of shrubs we have.     The class hayride is set for Friday Oct 3, a great time in the country. Campfire, Eating and a hayride along the rim of the knobs with a beautiful view of the city below.
